My mum was awesome, an amazing person who brightened up the lives of everyone she knew and met. A once met never forgotten individual, always with a welcoming smile on her face. Mum, i hope your content with our arrangements for you today, your were gone before we knew it and you didn't get the chance to give us guidance. I hope you approve of your hand designed coffin, hand designed by your three girls and Adam. We knew you deserved something special that reflected your wonderful personality. You were unigue and i don't believe that i will ever meet anyone else like you. You were one of the strongest people i know, you showed this strength when you beat the cancer the first time. You met each trial and tribulation head on and i can only hope that some of your strength will live on in us three. I couldn't pick at any particular thing that i will miss most about you, becuase i will miss everything. From the way you hugged me, to the sound of your voice and the way you would call five different names up the stairs before getting the one you actually wanted. We were so alike and i loved it, i loved that we had so much in common, apart form our support for rival football teams of course. It meant i could spend time with you on my own, watching football or rugby and anything else that Sarah and Mhairi didn't like. That one to one time was special and meant so much to me and i will cherish it forever. You knew all my strengths and weaknesses and you helped me to work to improve them, i thank you for that. You also knew how to wind me up, something you seemed to enjoy and you were very good at it, i shall miss that too. I remember everything about my mum, her complete zest for life, o loved her smile and her laugh. She was always laughing and smiling whether it be at something plain silly, or just something blonde that Sarah had said or even Adams attempt at singing every genre of singing, including opera. I am so glad that you were my mum, even if it was only meant to be for a short period of time. I couldn't imagine having another mum as good as you. I have loved you with all my heart and i only hope that i managed to show you just how much. I miss you and will continue to love you with all my heart. Mum i love you so much that i can never say goodbye, i can but wait to say hello when we meet again one day.
